A friendly blog reader left a comment on a post I did about the “Paralyzer” dancers, specifically Nathan Kim.  This clip shows Mr. Kim doing a little private dancing and doing it well.  No doubt about it.  The man can move.  I will say this, though, he does need a few more pics on the net.  The above is the absolute best I could find and from the responses I’ve gotten about these two dancers, they really need some nice glossies.  Nathan, Wendy, email me.  I promise I’ll share the photos. 

Thanks to a kindly reader, we now have the names of the Paralyzer lead dancers.  They are Wendy Fowler and Nathan Kim.  You can find out more about the video here:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paralyzer_%28song%29.  Apparently, Wendy was on Dawson ’s Creek as a singer.

Tracy Phillips

So I still haven’t discovered the names of the two principal dancers in Finger Eleven’s “Paralyzer” video but I do believe I’m getting closer.  Tracy Phillips (pictured above) was the choreographer for that video and has also been the choreographer for several others including the MyChem video for “Helena” which is where this still is taken from.  So people, we aren’t there yet but we’ve made a nice dent in our research.

Every time I see the video for “Paralyzer” by Finger Eleven I can’t take my eyes off of the dancers.  They are incredible.  I think I’m loving the combination of great dancing (particularly by the two lead dancers), the costuming, the set, the choreography, and the fact that the choreography works so nicely with the song.  The two lead dancers are really nice to look at as well, but that’s neither here nor there.  I’ve been trying to find out who these two wonderful dancers are but so far no luck.  If anyone knows, please “speak up”.  I’d like to see what else they’ve been doing.  You can catch the video here:  http://music.aol.com/popeater/2007/08/13/video-of-the-day-finger-elevens-paralyzer/
