More Halloween Fun

According to Ugly Overload it’s called Bleeding Tooth Fungus because:
They ooze a red liquid.
They grow little 4 mm teeth on their underside.
It’s a mushroom.
Yup, sounds reasonable to me.

Danny Trejo
Don’t act like you wouldn’t shit yourself if you saw this guy coming down the street toward you. Even if you recognized him after a few seconds, you’d still be throwing those shorts away. Even when he’s smiling as he is in this pic, he’s still a little intimidating. And that, folks, is why the man has such a great career. Holy crap! I just now looked him up on imdb and he has thirteen films in production! He also has 143 film credits. I had no idea. I knew I’d seen him all over the place but now I know why. Danny can be seen in the “Halloween” remake (by Rob Zombie) and “Grindhouse”. I know you’ve seen him already in “From Dusk Till Dawn” and “Once Upon a Time in Mexico ” and probably dozens of movies on top of those. And let me just say…Damn Danny, you are truly a workaholic aren’t you? The more films you do, the more films I get to see, so I’m happy.

Brad Dourif
Great, great, great in any role. He plays the most innocent of innocents and the most vile of villains. He is truly a master and so very underrated. In “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” he was the innocent Billy Bibbit. More recently he was the evil Grima Wormtongue in “The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King”. See what I’m saying?

He’s done so much acting work that I’ve completely lost track. I’d mention a few roles from imdb but even that list is a bit long to sort through…but for those of you who like: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000374/. Now, I did find this interesting. He’s playing Sheriff Lee Brackett in Rob Zombie’s remake of “Halloween”. Rob Zombie knows what he’s doing and Dourif is a great choice. Most of us horror fans already know this but Brad was the voice of Chucky in all of the “Child’s Play” movies and actually appeared in the first one. While Brad is really great in horror, do not think him limited. Oh no, this guy has done and is good at every genre. There aren’t many actors out there with the range and skill that Mr. Dourif has and he is so very riveting on screen. He’s been involved with several charity events (all well documented online) but as far as I can tell has no particular favorite. Of course, he’s one of those very private actors and there isn’t a lot of information about him out there. Do we really need any more information than what he presents on screen?
