Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith - 10 Years and Still Strong

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith

Few Hollywood couples represent what a good marriage is all about.  Will and his lovely wife Jada are an exception to the rule.  They've been married 10 years (or thereabouts) and as far as I can tell are a happy and loving couple.  And beautiful...holy crap they are amazing looking people.  But, it's not all about looks is it?  I happened to catch one of the award shows where their son, Jaden, was nominated.  The Smith family couldn't be there personally but taped a segment.  That was, by far, the most entertaining segment on the entire show.  More importantly, it showed me (and probably everyone else too) that this is a truly loving family.  The segment was funny and featured Will "butting in" to his son's speech while Jada kept trying to get him to "butt out" while operating the camera.  This is the kind of family we would all love to be a part of (mine is like that, thank God).  I have nothing but the deepest respect for the way these two (now three) wonderful actors have managed to keep their marriage and family sacred especially in the light of Will's huge star-power and Jada's rock career.  And they are committed to helping other families.  Visit two of their many favorite charities:  Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation and Dream Foundation.

Needless to say, Will has many films in development and production while Jada has several of her own in development and production.  Yup, Jaden's got one in development too.  I guess it just goes to show the real power of a truly devoted family and a marriage that reflects love and hard work.

P.S.  I was living in Owings Mills near Baltimore when these two got married at "The Cloisters".  Well, that was the rumor anyone (maybe only the reception was held there).  At any rate, I had to drive by after the fact just to see the place which was beautiful and befitting of such a classy couple.
